One-Off Roush P51A Mustang Convertible Sells For $300,000

Roush and Sanderson Ford donate car for Celebrity Fight Night Charity.

04-08-08: Only 151 of the super special 515hp Roush P-51A Mustangs were made. For this special event, only one convertible has been built just for Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night charity event. Roush and Arizona Ford dealership Sanderson Ford partnered together to build and donate this special car to the charity event which was held on April 5th in Phoenix.

Recognized as one of the nation's elite charity events, Celebrity Fight Night is a star-studded evening presented in honor of our featured guest, Muhammad Ali. Celebrities and professional athletes from all over the country participate in a night filled with incredible Live Auction items and live musical performances by many of today's brightest stars.

Throughout Celebrity Fight Night's thirteen year history over $45 million has been raised with the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute as the primary beneficiary. The Roush P51A Convertible sold for $300,000 to an undisclosed buyer. This tops the sale of the one-off 2007 Roush BlackJack convertible last year that fetched $225,000.
