American Custom Trailers says, "Dont settle for ordinary"

07-14-07: There is the average everyday Mustang news that comes our way each day like 1000hp Shelby special editions, spy photos of the 2010 Mustang, and boring stuff like that. Then there is the news that really makes you stop and say, wow that’s different.

The photos and information from American Custom Trailers made us do just that. These are a new line of small utility trailers that are primarily made for motorcycles but can also be towed behind your Stang that are perfect for road trips, car shows, or other outings.

Made to look exactly like a 2005-2008 Mustang being trailered, the fiberglas enclosed utility trailers have about 20 cubic feet of carpeted cargo area. They come from the factory in white or black but can be custom ordered to look exactly like your Mustang.

They are genuine article utility trailers that are completely DOT compliant and meet all rules an regulations. They have a certificate of origin and VIN number so you can license them in any state. The trailers use a 1 7/8” ball and require a standard 6-pin connection for taillights. The company boasts that they include the new super bright LED lamps.

Trailers have 12” wheels with chrome wheel covers and they ride smooth with a torsion bar suspension. The Mustang trailer, model number ACT-02 has a retail price of $3495. You can order them right from the American Custom Trailers website too.

The company also offers a Corvette model for the bowtie gang. We think they are pretty neat!
