Hot Products: New Budget Minded Fidanza Clutches

Staff Report

The name we all know relases new "1.0" lower priced clutch models for Mustang

01-21-07:Fidanza has become a well known name in the Mustang aftermarket for well made clutches that can take over where the stock disc leaves you smoking. They are not the least expensive clutches though, and they have recently made a strategic move to change than. Fidanza has just introduced its “1.0” clutch for Mustang owners who want a low cost performance alternative.

The new offering is a complete clutch package that offers improved performance at a budget friendly price of about $232.00 (msrp).  The clutch assembly's pressure plate is a high clamp load unit that produces 2,400 lbs. of force. This is pretty strong considering the factory stock unit is rated at only 1,700 lbs.. Engagement remains stock-like and is easy on the leg.  The clutch disc is organic with a full Marcel and sprung hub.

To make the replacement process smooth, Fidanza's 1.0 Mustang clutch package comes with a matched throw-out bearing and pilot tool. The 1.0 clutch is now available for the 1986-1995 5.0L, 1996-1998 4.6L Cobra and 1996-2000 4.6L GT and has a holding capacity of up to 350 lbs.-ft. torque to the wheels.
