03-27-09: Some of the latest greatest parts from Ford Racing caught our eye this week. Yes, the Aluminator crate motors really make it all complete, but these items are a bit more affordable. This week's picks include both and interior and exterior mod that can be gotten at your local Ford Racing Parts retailer.
The Cobra Snake faux fuel door emblem for the rear of the 2005-2009 Mustang lets you easily get that GT-500 look in under 20 minutes. The Ford Racing genuine part uses double sided tape, just like the factory unit and fits exact as well. Taking your old emblem off is simply a matter of rubbing some tooth floss behind it and carefully lifting it off. Then in a short mess-less time, you have a new look. Part Number M-2301-S retails for about $44.

If you want a bit more bling inside on your Shelby GT-500 or six-speed equipped Mustang, Ford Racing is now offering these cool retro designed shift levers and cue-ball handles. These are especially designed for use with the Ford Racing short throw six-speed shifter as well as the stock SVT shifter in the 2007-2009 GT-500. Part numbers M7213-K and M7213-J come in white with polished stainless steel shaft or black with an e-coated black stick. Slick eh? The look is too cool and the price comes in at about $149.
