Products: 2010 Steeda Mustang GT Front Splitter

Staff Report

First peek at new Steeda styling for 2010

08-16-09: While it hasn’t yet shown up in the Steeda catalog or been officially announced, we came across some very nice photos of the upcoming 2010 Steeda Front Fascia Splitter in development.

The new piece integrates a trademark Steeda look with a new twist to compliment the new 2010 Mustang GT. While this example is painted body color, a Steeda representative stated that the company is also considering a black pattern matched finish to go along with the stock Mustang GT lower cladding.

The look is clean and it appears the new Steeda Front Fascia Splitter is a relatively easy installation, covering over the stock Mustan fascia instead of replacing it all together. The lower air inlet is tapered nicely to match the stock GT air grille. The piece does well to clean up the busy origami look the standard GT has in its lower splitter.

We imagine the new Steeda Front Fascia Splitter will be standard fare on the upcoming Steed Q series Mustangs. Last month Steeda introduced their “Sport” model whos content is more about the preformance than the visual adds. If this new piece is a good indication of the styling the new Q Series will offer, Steeda will have a good overall package on their hands.

As stated, pricing and availability has not yet been announced. But you can keep up at the Steeda website. www.Steeda.com
