New Steeda offerings tighten up your 2015 Mustang

Steeda has built their reputation on stiffness. When it comes to the 2015 Mustang, they’ve wasted no time giving it tough love to make it everything it can be on the track.

While the new 2015 Mustang’s chassis is stiffer than ever, offering a sharper and more communicative chassis, there is still room for improvement.

To wit, they have a trio of new chassis stiffening products for your 2015 Mustang you need before changing out any springs, struts, anti-roll bars and adding more traction to your rolling stock.

Starting at the top, the Steeda Strut Tower Brace which fits both the 2015 Mustang GT and EcoBoost, ties the towers together for a tighter feel you will notice.

It’s constructed of high-strength chrome-moly steel with a wrinkle black powder-coated finish. Steeda points out this will not fit 2015 Mustangs with V6, performance package, or the factory 20-inch wheel options.

The Steeda Strut Tower Brace retails for $204.95 and is made in America.

Going down under, there is the Steeda Extreme G-Trac Brace also known as the K-member brace. Fitting all 2015 Mustang models, the brace ties the control arm mounts and rear of the sub frame to prevent geometry changes during hard cornering.

Best of all, it bolts right in with no modifications to the car. Retail price for the Steeda Extreme G-Trac Brace is $164.95

The third and key place to tighten up the 2015 Mustang’s chassis is the IRS. While the new suspension has been long in coming and brings a new world of handling, it also brings a new world of wheel-hop.

steeda-s550-mustang-irs-sub-frame-bushing-support-system-2015-555-4437(5)Steeda got right to work with their new IRS Sub Frame Bushing Support System for the 2015 Mustang. Made of CNC machined, 6061 aluminum, their new bushings replace the stock factory rubber.

Fitting the 2015 Mustang GT, EcoBoost, and V6, it gives a more solid feel with Steed says no increase in noise, vibration, and harshness.

Steeda says they eliminate rear sub frame movement which serves to increase traction and most importantly help eliminate wheel hop.

No permanent modifications to the car are required and this new bushing package even has a patent pending. Priced at $134.95, the Steeda S550 Mustang IRS Sub Frame Bushing Support System is available now.
